Following the birth, there was a heartwarming moment captured on camera— the mother, Calaya, was seen kissing her baby on the lips. Calaya, a 15-year-old gorilla, mated with Baraka, a 26-year-old, 450-pound gorilla, just before her third year at the zoo.
