It’s frequently an old flame, an eccentric relative, or someone searching for free drinks who shows up unexpectedly at a wedding. However, in this case, it was something entirely else!
Marilia and Matheus Pierogi were about to begin their wedding ceremony in a tent in Sao Paulo when a stray dog walked in, seeking shelter from the storm. The furry interloper was gently taken out as the couple made their way down the aisle to exchange vows. To everyone’s amazement, the canine appeared surprised and slumbered in the middle of the ceremony. And where the dog thought was the best place for a nap? On the wedding veil!
Unlike some brides, Marilia welcomed the unexpected event and considered the dog an honored guest. “It was a delightful surprise for me because I adore animals,” Marilia told The Dodo.
As the night ended, the couple looked for the puppy in the hopes of finding him a forever home, but the pup was unable to be found. Thus began a city-wide search for the lucky canine!

A rainstorm had broken out on their wedding day, so the ceremony was held under a tent.
Everything was going according to plan until the young couple said their vows.
And then I looked down to discover that an unexpected guest had walked in and slept on the bride’s veil.
Most ladies would have gone full Bridezilla by now, but Marlia was overjoyed.
The wedding crasher was a stray dog that came in to escape the rain and was gratefully permitted to stay.
The couple planned to bring the pup home at the night’s end, but he was nowhere to be found.
After more than a week of scouring throughout the city, the pair eventually received the news they had hoped for.
The surprise visitor from the finest day of their lives has been found and reunited with them.
They named him Snoop and accepted him into their happy family.
“…I showered him,” Marlia explained to The Dodo. “He is pleased and slept super well the first night.”
“We’re all happy.”
Snoop appears to have found the perfect place to slumber and the forever home he so richly deserved.
