Up in the beautiful hills of Asheville, North Carolina, where black bears chill alongside the locals, something truly heartwarming happened between a guy named Patrick Conley and a black bear named Simone. Their friendship kicked off back in late summer 2017 and hit a super cute milestone when Simone proudly brought her little cubs over to introduce them to Patrick.
Simone, treating Patrick’s porch like it’s her hangout spot, casually strolling up with her cautious little cubs tagging along. At first, the cubs were like, “Whoa, what’s this place?” but soon enough, they got their groove on and joined their calm mama on the porch. So, now Patrick’s usual Simone hangouts turned into a whole family party.
And let me tell you, watching bears, usually super shy around humans, getting all comfy and cosy with Patrick is seriously mind-blowing. They even went on a mini adventure across the street, with the cubs going nuts climbing trees while Simone kept an eagle eye on them.
With Simone and her cubs all well-fed and happy, Patrick’s all stoked for more heartwarming visits from his new bear fam in the future. He can’t wait to see them again!
