Dogs are well-known for their extraordinary love and commitment to their human lovers. They create life-long ties with us and are famed for their unconditional love. This is why they are famous all around the world. Their link with us grows and becomes more robust over time. Dogs are an excellent and vital part of our lives, whether they provide comfort and support through difficult times or joy and happiness in our daily lives.
When you adopt a dog, and it becomes a member of your family, anything terrible that occurs to the dog also makes you unhappy. This happened to Carlos Fresco, who had a particular relationship with his 10-year-old dog Monty. Carlos treated Monty as if he were a friend and family member. Monty suffered leukemia and underwent chemotherapy, but the disease resurfaced and negatively impacted his health.
Fresco became aware that his beloved friend Monty was in great agony and near the end of his life. Fresco wanted Monty’s remaining days to be enjoyable because he deeply cared about him and loved him unconditionally.

He decided to take Monty to their favourite spots and play with him. He pushed Monty around in a wheelbarrow to all the locations they used to go. Monty was sitting comfortably in the wheelbarrow.

It was very emotional to see Fresco take Monty to places where they had shared happy memories. They went on hikes and mountain tops, and many other hikers and strangers joined them to keep Monty company. It was clear that Monty was pleased during these outings.

Monty enjoyed hiking, and his favorite hike was to a mountain peak in Wales. Fresco explained that this was his way of honoring Monty, who was always cheerful and made everyone around him happy.

Monty died on June 21, 2021, and many people were devastated. Fresco recalls his happy days with Monty and is glad for their relationship. We wish Monty a peaceful rest.
